Sports and Occupational Injury Diagnosis

Diagnosis involves a comprehensive assessment of the signs, symptoms and history of your injury. Also testing the range of movement of the affected joints, muscles, ligaments and tendons.

Massage treatment

Sports/Occupational Massage

Massage for the alleviation of stress and tension in the musculo-skeletal system.

Friction massage is used for specific local problems such as ligament and tendon injuries.

Manual Therapy

Manual therapy is a gentle technique which mobilises the spine and other joints to regain a pain-free normal range of movement.

Ultrasound

Utilised to help reduce inflammation, alleviate pain and develop strong fibres.

Exercise Therapy

Customised exercise programmes are devised to aid healing and also strengthen the injured area to prevent further injury.

Injury Rehabilitation

Once the diagnosis has been made, rehabilitation can start straight away.

Treatment will be initiated during the session and you will be given a programme to continue the rehabilitation process at home.

Personalised post-operative rehabilitation programmes can also be devised.
